With the commands "Selectionset hide and rotate" or "Selectionset hide and move" you create copies of your blocks on a hidden layer. An example of use is to create open sashes in a door to measure the actual clearance.

Use the Conceal command to create a block whose contents are shown with dashed lines from a selection of objects.

Select the desired objects. Then set the boundary contour for the dashed lines.

The command creates a block with the dashed objects. The contour above is the boundary of the block. The frame can be switched on or off with the AutoCAD/BricsCAD property for switching on/off the boundary frame XCLIPFRAME. To do this, set XCLIPFRAME to 0. (XCLIPFRAME is available from AutoCAD 2010).
