Reference dimension |
Dimensioning of interrupted sectional views In standard AutoCAD/BricsCAD there is only a real length dimensioning (actual dimension) possible. The program "Reference dimension" can be used to dimension the true length (nominal / specified dimension). The graphical presentation of "real / true" length can be carried out with one or multiple interrupted sectional views (see example). A reference line is created at the layer "BEZ_MASS" for each interrupted sectional view and the value of the difference of "real/true" length is assigned to it. The reference line at the layer BEZ_MASS is required for internal program sequences only and should be invisible when plotting. When calling the command "Plot" via digitizer or pull-down menu the layer is switched off automatically. Information about the interrupted sectional views are saved with the drawing even when quitting AutoCAD/BricsCAD. The reference lines are at the visible layer "BEZ_MASS" |
