3D alignment 3 points |
The Align 3D command 3 points aligns the profiles to a plane to be defined by 3 points, for this purpose the UCS does not need to be changed. The Z vector of the profile is aligned with the Z vector of the selected plane.
Example: The bottom right profile is drawn as a 3D rung. The position is to be aligned with the inclined plane.
Select the command Align 3D 3 Points :
Command: Define plane by 3 points: Clickfirst point 1 in the green guide plane. Clicknext point2 in the green guide plane Clicknext point 3 in the green guide plane Select 3D profiles Select the profile at the bottom right Select objects: 1 found Select objects:
The result is shown in the right image. The bottom rung is aligned to the inclined plane.
